Finding Profitable Forums to Promote and Post Your Affiliate Offers - 5 Questions

Submitting posts to the appropriate forums requires a little research. You can find relevant forums by running keyword searches and evaluating forum activity.

Start by typing your keywords with the term 'forum' into a search engine. This should give you a list of the top ranking and most suitable forums.

Visit each forum and evaluate the potential of the forum. It is important to target forums that have the most potential to earn you money.

Use the following criteria to determine whether or not you will participate in a particular forum.

Is the forum related to your niche?
Make sure that the forum is related to your keywords and niche.

Are the visitors your target audience?
Read through the posts to get an idea of who uses the forum.

How active is the forum?
Check the number of threads, posts, and views to gauge the activity of the forum.

How popular is the forum?
Identify the number of members to determine if the forum is popular enough.

How current is the forum?
Find the date of the last posting to the forum to determine the timeliness of the forum.

You want to avoid irrelevant and non-targeted forums where the last post was made weeks ago. You also don't want to bother with inactive and unpopular forums where no one participates.

Evaluation standards vary across industries, markets, and niches. 100 forum members may be adequate for one niche but 1,000 forum members may not be adequate for other niches.

Successful forum marketing starts with understanding your niche, knowing who you're targeting, and developing a focused list of keywords.

Once again great information. I especially like the part about checking to see when the most recent post was.
