AllinTitle with Exact Search Will Give You a True Indication of Your Competition and Increase Affiliate Commissions

When researching which keywords to choose for your affiliate marketing campaigns it is important to identify how many competitors are competing for your keyword. Traditionally, many affiliates would use a normal search or an exact search to determine how many competitors they had.

In a normal search you would type a keyword phrase into Google without quotes i.e. keyword search. This is how most people search the Internet. This search would return pages that contained any of the words in your keyword phrase. Normal searches would give affiliates a general idea of how many competing pages they had for their keyword.

An exact or optimized search would yield a better idea of the level of competition for a keyword. In an exact search you would type the keyword phrase into Google with quotes i.e. “keyword search.” An exact search would return the number of pages with the exact keyword in the page. This gives affiliates a more accurate number of competing pages by identifying how many pages may be deliberately optimized for a keyword.

But the best indicator of how much competition you have for a keyword is the AllinTitle with Exact Search queries. AllinTitle with Exact Search returns the number of pages with the exact keyword in the title of the page. The syntax for an AllinTitle with Exact Search is allintitle:“keyword search”

To understand why you would want to use the AllinTitle with Exact Search, you need to understand the mind of a search engine optimization (SEO) professional.

SEO consultants, affiliate marketers, Internet marketers, in-house SEO staff, and self-taught entrepreneurs all know the importance of placing your keywords in your title tag. Placing your keyword within your title tag is the most important on-page optimization technique you can employ.

All pages that have been directly optimized will have the keyword in the title. These pages, most likely, have been optimized to rank high for that particular keyword. Thus, these pages represent your true competitors.

Those pages that accidentally rank high for a keyword can be easily overtaken (except for some high authority pages). Those pages that have been intentionally optimized cost more money, time, and resources to overcome.

The less competition for a keyword, the less money, time, and resources you will have to invest in search engine optimization. Less competition will also make it easier to rank high for a keyword and drive more traffic to your affiliate offer.

Knowing your true competition for a keyword will save you time and money. It will also help drive more traffic and generate more commissions from your affiliate marketing campaigns.
